Location: Washington DC Area (access to Andrews Joint Base) or Dayton, Ohio Area (access to Wright-Patterson AF Base) preferred, Colorado (Front Range – Denver/Colorado Springs Area) a possibility
Job Description
Seeking a highly motivated and strong cybersecurity developer to support operations and deployments on a DOD program that:
- Enables analytics partnerships
- Enables Executive Order on Maintaining American Leadership in Artificial Intelligence
- Allows functional communities to use the state-of-the-art, cloud-based tools they need to solve the Air Force's toughest data-related challenges
Required Skills
- At least one year demonstrated experience in:
- Agile Teams: plan and manage software development processes
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
- Gitlab and Continuous Deployment in hybrid environments
- Experience in generating hardened containers of commercial and open-source AI/ML tools, and libraries
- Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) and Custom Controllers
- Must have at least 1 year experience with packaging and securing applications as containers and working in Kubernetes
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Demonstrated Experience in providing DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, Gitlab, or similar tools
- Knowledge of source version control, build/release tools and methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong ‘security first’ mindset
- Demonstrated cybersecurity experience with linux operating systems
- Experience hardening Kubernetes and containers
- Expertise with cloud systems and architectures
- Familiarity with Linux and scripting (Bash and Python, etc)
- Ability to work on high performing teams supporting multiple projects and personnel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Desired Skills
- Experience with AWS, Azure, NextGen Security Products, network vulnerability scanning platforms
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CSSP)
- Development experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
- Strong Bash and Python coding skills
- Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and authorization processes
Education Requirements
- 3+ years of experience and 1+ year of Cloud Cyber experience with a B.S/B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, or technical degree or 5+ equivalent experience
